Fast and furious this Columbus Day. Following Thursday’s loss to Wake Forest, Clemson has fired coach Tommy Bowden.  The Tigers were expected to be a national power but are only 3-3. We watched the Wake game and Clemson looked pretty bad. Biggest surprise is the timing. Apparently there is a $4 million buyout, so Bowden won’t be hurting financially. One report said that buyout dropped considerably after the first game of next season. However, at mediocre the powers at Clemson decided they couldn’t wait.
