Darrell Arthur cops to stupidity
Darrell Arthur, who was tossed from the NBA rookie transition program with fellow Kansan Marion Chalmers, is all apologetic in the Memphis Commercial appeal. Sounds like he spent a few days in a program learning what to say from his agent and the team. The whole "I’m sorry" routine is so played. Here is what he says and you believe what you want to believe…:
I want kids not to make the mistake I made," Arthur said. "I want to try to teach them the right thing to do. If you follow the rules you won’t be in the same position I’m in. I feel terrible. I should have never opened the door. If I wouldn’t have done that, everything would have been cool. I knew the rules and I made a mistake."
"I told them it won’t happen again," Arthur said. "I want people to know I’m a good kid. I’m not a trouble maker. I’ve never really got into trouble. This is the first really bad thing that’s happened to me. But I’m going to prove to people that I’m worthy to be on this team, I have good character and I’ll be good in the community."
To us, he should be playing in Chicago because all the apologies make him sound full of Bull.
Mario Chalmers should join Arthur in Chicago. How stupid can they be to think anyone is going to believe their stories. Wow, the room just stunk like marijuana because the women were wearing that aroma as perfume? They both should be cut.
