No recession for Lakers fans
October 7th, 2008
Money is tight everywhere it seems except the Staples Center. The Los Angeles Times reports that Lakers season-ticketholders have renewed at a 99% rate. That is 20% above the league average. Wonder how much of the league dip comes from the people in New York who are sick of paying for the awful Knicks? If you are wondering, the Jack Nicholson seats are only $2500 a game.
Maybe part of the one percent not coming back is this crazed female fan who faces a court date for stalking Luke Walton.
