The late show for Jimmy Rollins

For those of you wondering why Charlie Manuel would choose to sit NL MVP Jimmy Rollins in the rubber game of a series with the Mets on Thursday, here is the answer: the Phillies’ shortstop arrived late at Shea and both he and the team paid for it. Not smart on Rollins’ part and a strong stand by Manuel, one that should be admired but you have to wonder what the brass and team thinks. Rollins has to know and do better.
